West Yorkshire Community Chaplaincy Project Privacy Notice

WYCCP record and safely store personal information about you including

  • Your full contact details (name, address, telephone number, date of birth)

Details of:

  • Convictions
  • Health
  • Family
  • Religion, Ethnicity, Sexuality
  • Your probation officer, doctor and any other agencies you work with
  • Notes about the support that we have given you. 

We will keep this information safely whilst you work with us and for six years from the date your file is closed.

We are careful about handling and storing your personal information. We have fully described how we manage your information in our CONSENT FORM & PRIVACY NOTICE which you signed saying that you understand why your data is being processed.

We hold your personal data following the principles below:

  • It will only be used to enable us to give you as much support as we can
  • It will be limited to what is necessary for the purpose
  • It will be up to date
  • It will not be kept in identifiable form for longer than is necessary
  • It will be held securely

You have the right to request at any time:

  • To have access to your data within 30 days
  • To have any mistakes in your data corrected (within 30 days)
  • To have your data erased (if you withdraw your data we will not be able to work with you)
  • To transfer your data to another provider
  • To object to how your data is processed
  • To have  your data suspended (out of play) if a dispute is being processed
